Sven is a local artist and part-time resident of St. Thomas. Away from the island, he resides in Huntington Beach, CA and works in the Aerospace Industry as an aircraft and space vehicle structural engineer (rocket science.) Sven always had an affection for the arts and has been enjoying creating landscape and seascape paintings in Huntington Beach (Surf City, USA) and here in St. Thomas. Sven uses a variety of brushes and palette knives to achieve dynamic results over various styles of realism, abstraction, and impressionism, as well as high impasto style paintings.

The beauty of St. Thomas and the USVI inspired Sven to do a series of original oil paintings, as well as high-quality Giclee prints, that capture the stunning allure of the Island seascapes and sea life. Please enjoy this selection of Sven’s artwork.
